Sonakshi Sinha is an Indian actress , entrepreneur who works in Bollywood films. Sonakshi is the recipient of, several Filmfare awards .

Sonakshi made her acting debut with the action film Dabangg in 2010 opposite Salman Khan which won her the Filmare award for best Debut Actor. She rose to prominence by playing the leading lady in several male-dominated action films, including Rowdy Rathore against Akshay Kumar, Son of Sardaar opposite Ajay Devgn , Dabangg 2 , Mission Mangal.

In 2018, she was seen in comedy movie - Welcome to New York, with a cast of Top Punjabi Singer Diljit Dosanjh.

In 2023, she starred in the thriller series Dahaad.

Sonakshi is a professed animal lover. PETA India named her 2022 Person of the Year for spreading awareness in adoption and sterilisation animals.

In 2022, Sonakshi launched A press-on nail brand - SOEZI to make your nail game glamorous and super EZI!
